Lyra

Lyra

Lyra is both sweet and sassy in a mini 6 lb package. She needs to be the only pet in the home. She’s a girl that knows what she wants and needs (back scratches, treats, and meals!) and isn’t afraid to let you know how things should be done to her standards. Her torititude is adorable & she’s a cuddler at heart. She follows people from room to room craving attention and is happy to sit with you throughout the day. Lyra is allergic to chicken but otherwise, she has a seemingly infinite appetite and will come running when you even attempt to have food (human or cat food) around her. She would make a great addition to a household that loves having a cat full of quirky personality that will make you laugh at all of her tortie antics.

I love to pounce on shiny, rattling toys and bat them around the room. I carry around my favorite mice and stuffed toys like a lion carrying its prey. If you shine a laser in front of me, I will chase it all around the room. I keep trying to catch the laser, but the sneaky thing always escapes! I also love to sit by a sunny window and bask in the sun.

I have been waiting for my forever home and hope to find it soon. Won’t you come meet me and see how amazing I am

Vito

Vito

Male

Meet Vito a 5-year-old fluffy boy who loves to be brushed. He LOVES affection and is starting to play and roll over on his back to lounge, which is great. He would do great in a home with someone who is retired or works from home and wants a lap cat work buddy. He really is a great cat but needs a LOT of patience and a quiet, peaceful home. He loves his foster Dad a little more than his foster Mom. So he seems to favor gentle Men. But he also does great with his foster Mom. No high pitched or loud voices either, he has a lot of trauma to overcome. Vito was rescued after being abused. For this reason, he is very sensitive, so he needs a home with No other animals, and no kids. Vito needs to be crated when alone; he gets VERY stressed with separation anxiety so he will cause mischief in a room if left alone.

It’s also best to crate him when feeding. Then come out & after a few hours of play time, leave him be so he will use the litter box; he will not use the litter box if anyone is in the room.

If you feel you could give Vito the peaceful home he deserves & would love to brush a silky long hair cat who will snuggle you, once he settles in & feels safe, then please apply today.
